I recently discovered some food that is pretty easy to make. The first is an coconut and chocolate covered almonds. I already had the soaked and dehydrated almonds. I just did the rest super fast. This is where I got the recipe from this link HERE.
And the next thing I made was some Pumpkin Spice muffins that DID NOT turn out. I went around some ingredients and turns out you NEED the baking powder and baking soda. HAA HAA, I am still learning on this cooking thing. But I made a yummy cashew frosting from my Raw Cook book by Russel James. I didn't have a picture of that. But I just heat the muffin up a little and put the cashew frosting on top. That made it more sweet and yummy.
Today I am extremely tired. I know I don't look it in the picture but it's true. I took this picture before the fatigueness really hit me. I went out to eat with a friend for lunch at a really cute hole in the wall downtown and then home I went. I just all of the sudden lost all my energy. I think it's because I forgot to take my Vitamin b12 two days in a row. And I am feeling numbness in my feet again. Maybe I should up my dosage. I will have research a bit about it I think. Plus yesterday I took a little 5 year old to McDonald's and had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and soda. Gosh! I just filled myself with junk. But I will get back on the band wagon. At about 5pm I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and just flopped on my bed to sleep for 2 hours. Now I have been up almost 2 hours and I am ready to go back to bed. I only my allergies are also kicking up with the rain starting up and that usually knocks me out anyway. Hopefully I can get back to my "normal" self soon.

About To Get A LOT Busier
Hello Everyone,
I am still here going strong. I went 4 days of working out completely. And then I was kinda busy with stuff and my work schedule also hinders having any energy to workout..so it become a viscous cycle. Today I went to Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition in Corvallis, Oregon. My friend from Delaware went to the one in Philadelphia and she brought this one to my attention one week before. YAY!! I went with my boss from work and one other co-worker. I didn't know that we would be standing the whole time and I dressed up and wore heels. I think I was standing for a total of 3 hours. OUCH!! But major calorie burn, hee haa.
I was gonna try and zoom in to get a better picture but he then bent down and got off the stage. Still kinda cool. I even wanted to meet with Jarvez(the man who lost the weight) and tell him he inspired me. Because he really did! It was so cool. And I am inspired to move on. There was a lady who asked Chris 2 cool questions. The first was "What made you decide to become a trainer?". He said when he was a teenager he actually had the opposite problem. He was too small and when he went for football tryouts he just got crushed by the others. So his parents bought him a weight set and took everything out of the living and put it there with just a tv. Eventually when he was watching tv he tried to see how much he could bench press and was surprised by how strong he really was. So it became a competition for him too see how much more he could do. I think that's pretty cool. And the second question she asked was "What's the first thing you tell people?" I so wanted to know the answer to this. He said he tells them that they have to believe. If you believe you can do it, then you will do it. But if you don't believe you can then you won't. Pure and simple. I knew that all along but it was nice to know that's the key. Even Jarvez said that. It's all head knowledge. His transformation was amazing!! They are gonna show this episode in a couple of months. Extraordinary is how that explained his transformation...I totally agree.
In other news, I am going to college. YUP!! I finally got my Financial Aid letter and I start Monday. I added a conditioning class which is just working out on my time!! I have taken it before and I thought this would really help me. But I am going to be so busy with school, losing weight, and a full time work position...I wonder if my friends will see me until next Summer. They already hardly see me. But I must take care of me before I can really help others. So here goes. I am super excited for this. I feel like I won a great prize and opportunity.
Ok, very tired from being up so late. So I'll let you go for now. Laters.

Here is the wrist band we had to watch. Pretty cool. I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the showing or of the guy that had the transformation. But after the show Chris Powell was gonna do a meet and greet thing. I wanted to stay so bad and meet him but I wouldn't know what to say and my feet were begging for some relief. So I snapped this one.

Feeling Great
Hello peoples!
I really should be in bed right since I have to get up in less than 6 hours for work. But I was wanting to blog before it got all jumbled up in my brain and I forgot it. So I made a wonderful creation. You can find this following recipe HERE!
I really should be in bed right since I have to get up in less than 6 hours for work. But I was wanting to blog before it got all jumbled up in my brain and I forgot it. So I made a wonderful creation. You can find this following recipe HERE!
I was having a young girl friend over and I wanted to make something healthy but delicious. And then I was snooping around on people's blogs and I found this one. Just a Roasted Tomato, Onion, and Basil Pesto Pizza with Vegan Parmesan Cheese.
IT WAS DELICIOUS! And is totally going in my recipe book. And I had my two room mates along and another girl who popped buy. Good thing the pizza ended up so fat because everyone loved and three of us got seconds.
I have to mention though...I didn't make the crust like the recipe says. I needed something a bit more simpler. And my one room mate needs to eat gluten-free. So I found a gluten-free/wheat-free/dairy free pizza dough at Fred Meyer. Only $4. I fed 5 people dinner for $19. That's quite a bargain. And later I even made a fruit salad with apples, oranges, and watermelon. With some lemon juice. And I still believe i stayed under that budget because I had left overs from the pizza veggies etc. Very cool.
And since yesterday I worked 2am - 10:30am I was tired and my sister had her baby. I never found time to actually work-out. Booh me. BUT I didn't eat much that day and I barely sat down. i was up about 22 hours. I believe I did myself diligence. But I had to be honest with myself and take off my marks. So we are back to 1. I worked out today. I just did a thing at home.
I did my stair stepper for about 15 minutes while watching a movie. And then I was trying to figure something else out to do. I did lots of crunches on my squishy/exercise ball. The I remembered my workout folder which I hardly ever use. I did some total fat burning stuff. And man the back of my legs were cramping. I need to work them more often. So I now have one mark back on my board.
I went Oktober Fest here. It would be nice if it actually took place in Oktober but since it mostly just rains here I guess they push it up a bit. But it was raining right when I was leaving. Here is a picture of me.
A friend I went with bought me this wreath. So nice of her. So I think that was all I was wanting to blog about. Oh wait! I applied to be at the Home Makeover: Weight Loss Edition in Corvalis on the 24th. I believe it free. It's to be in the audience. To support the people who are losing or have lost weight. I watched one show once. I think this would be very encouraging for me. Hopefully I get to go. It's too late to ask off work but maybe I already have off. That would be AWESOME! Ok good-night people.

Getting back on Track after Summer
Hello everyone,
I look back at the last 2 months and I sigh. Wow! What horrible 2 months that has been. Yes, I haven't been feeling my best etc. But there was also so much fun stuff to do that I pushed all the working out and eating right to the back of the counter. Well today marks two days of working out. I recently sort-of cleaned my room. Pretty much I cleaned one side of my room/ The side which contains a desk, night/tv stand, and my dresser. If I am to stay on a schedule then I must have things organized. 1. I took my tv out of my room, I never use it and I need the space for my healthy eating and exercise folders. Therefore we have this organized.

Therefore we have this organized.
2. I decided decoration was not as important right now as remembering to take my vitamins. So I took tons of junk off my dresser to make room for the vitamins so it wouldn't be so crowded. Therefore we see this in the morning...it's a great reminder.
3. My extra desk usually collects a lot of dust and I usually just throw everything on it that I need to look at later. But I organized and put things away. So we are a bit more less cluttered at the moment. And less dusty. The stuff that came off that was horrible.
Now I feel more able to conquer the world of healthy living. Believe me, it's hard. I have so many projects and crafts started that I work on them for a bit and it gets lost in the mess of my room if I don't have a spot where it goes. My room is too small for me. But none-the-less we are organized now. So long as I don't bring anything else in.
You can still see my outfit hanging on the wall (I pulled the legs of the pants up. It was covering that dry-erase board and I needed it, the tv was in the way there too. But you know by now that I didn't get into the outfit when I wanted to, August. But I am trying real to get into it real soon.
The dry-erase board was being used to house a verse I was currently working with. But I haven't used it in a while. So I am now using it for this...
I hope that number goes real high. It's a challenge to myself. So far, so good. Today I got off work at 12:30 and went to the gym. I did the elyptical for 10 minutes and the bike for 20. Yesterday I went running on the treadmill for 20 minutes and 10 on the lower bike. I was sore that evening. It's a good feeling. I feel more in-control of my life and my body. After that I went to Subway and got a footlong veggie. I was so hungry. That gave me enough energy to take the effort drive to the fruit market. And so I did. I got all this for only $16! I love the apples because they are local and my favorite, Gala.
Yummy. And so I just wanted to post a little bit and say how it's been going. So well.
Oh! My big sister had her 4th son last night. He is now a little over a day old.
